Authentic Japanese food. Very tasty, and the staff are friendly. Very nice and clean interior. My family enjoy going there as well.
One of our go to place in the area for sushi. Limited seating but they do a fair amount of take out orders. House roll is usually a winner (fairly large roll and not too much rice). First time trying their tempura Don and it was pretty good. Update: Early Mar 2024 for a very generous serving of unagi don, as well as agadashi tofu, chicken teriyaki, and spinach gomae.
Saba is my favorite sashimi fish, and Sushi Go's saba is among the best in Vancouver. Also loved their taiyaki with the side of mango ice cream and topped with berries. Service was prompt and welcoming. The restaurant is in a strip mall, so it doesn't exactly have strong ambience, but where Sushi Go excels is in the quality of their fresh fish. So if all you're going to order are like, dynamite rolls and tempura, you'll be missing out on the best of Sushi Go. Get the nigiri, the sashimi, the unique desserts. Oh, also they carry Orion beer, which, if you like lighter lagers, is a great one.
The Salmon Oshi Sushi was delicious, but it was rather alarming to find two fish bones in my sushi. Please be more careful moving forward as it is a choking hazard. Also, I wish that the seaweed used for my scallop cone was crispier. Other than that, it was an enjoyable meal overall.
Very good. Tasty fresh sushi, great prawn tempura. Reasonably priced. What’s not to like.
Food is fresh and portions are generous. Authentically made. Rice for the chicken teriyaki is soft, moist and warm, obviously freshly made. Chicken is tender and flavourful, yet not drowning in store bought teriyaki sauce that you can’t taste anything else. Wish the service could be a bit better though. Water ran out mid way through the meal, but nobody came by to check in or refill the water the entire time I was there.
